Has
anyone else heard of JetAgents.com? Or
even better, used them? I’ve been a home
based travel agent for several years, and the last year has been really tough
in generating new clients. While return
customers are necessary, generating new clientele, as any travel agent knows,
is also critical. It was easy for me to
see that this was the area I really needed to focus on. NACTA.com is great for info – so is
homebasedtravelagent.com, but I was really looking for some very specific
things to put my business into overdrive.
One
of the areas I knew I was lacking in was a polished, professional web
site. When I started my business, I
didn’t think a web site was truly necessary.
Times have changed, and today, almost everyone turns to the Internet to
find everything from information to a new car.
A couple of months ago, I kind of came to the realization that I needed
a web site. Unfortunately, I’m not
exactly a pro at html and web design, and I really didn’t want to spend
thousands of dollars to hire a web designer.
I
tried to put one together myself, but it was flat and unappealing, and I didn’t
see how it would help me increase my business.
A friend told me about www.jetagents.com,
a travel web site builder, so I checked them out. After I read through their information, I
searched for other companies that built travel agent web sites. What I found was no other company seemed to
fit my needs as well as JetAgents did, so I figured, why not.
My
web site has been up and running for a little over a month now, and I have to
say it’s already making a difference. It
was easy to do, inexpensive, and I seem to be reaching the search engines as my
site is getting a lot of daily hits.
I’ve also increased my new client base by 10% already. Now, I don’t know if they’re right for
everyone, but I wanted to put this out there, because I’ve been really pleased
so far. I’d love to hear if anyone else
is using them and what their feelings are on everything they offer.
