EXPERT ON RECEVING JURY ACQUITTALS,

ATTORNEY PATRICK K. WOODALL

TO OFFER HIS INSIGHT ON

“MAKING THE JURY LISTEN”

TO UNIVERSITY OF LAW STUDENTS

***

Toledo, Ohio (March 15, 2006) – An expert in receiving jury acquittals, trial attorney Patrick K. Woodall is set to speak to University of Law students on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in the law auditorium.  This talk is free and is also open to the public upon registration at the above number and/or email.

Woodall, born in 1948, completed his B.A from Ohio Wesleyan University and his J.D. from Ohio State University.  As his outstanding case statistics show, he is an expert on “Making the Jury Listen.”  With an eye to teaching law students how to succeed in the courtroom, he has taken a sabbatical from law practice in order to “increase awareness of how important our communication skills are; and how they can, and do, impact a jury in a trial case.”

“Most attorneys’ are focused on the law; which is, of course, acutely necessary; however, they don’t realize how pivotal it is to create a powerful public speaking persona,” Woodall states.  His seminar is a discussion of, and includes active examples, how vital it is to reflect specific traits when addressing the jury.  “They notice everything; from eye contact, to body language, to the words you choose to use.  Learning how to effectively speak and win your case is about much more than having the proper legal facts.”

Having secured jury acquittals in felony cases alleging murder, aggravated assault, criminal vehicular operation, and aggravated robbery, to name a few, he knows of what he speaks.  Woodall prefers participation in his seminars as he believes people, in whatever their career; learn by doing far easier than by simply listening.  He also encourages questions and opinions.

To attend his seminar at the University of Law, simply register using the above contact information.  Woodall is currently filling his calendar for the remainder of the year, with a few dates remaining open.  For more information on his seminars and securing a date, please write to:  PKWoodall-info@LLP.Lawspeaks.org.
